Description

T4 (the University's website content management system) will be unavailable on the 2nd December from 8am to 9.30am for planned maintenance. During the downtime the live website will remain online, but T4 will not be accessible and web editors will not be able to add new content or make changes to any content. Self Service Cloud essential upgrade works: 25th - 29th November

Description

IT Services will be undertaking essential configuration work on the platform during a one week window, which will impact users of the service. The window for the works to take place is from Monday 25th November 2024 at 09:00 to Friday 29th November 2024 at 17:00. During this period it will not be possible to create new virtual machines. There should be no impact to accessing existing virtual machines. VM’s can still be created up to 09:00 on Monday 25th November 2024. Please note – following the works, from Monday 6th December 2024, users may be prompted to log back in when accessing the Self Service Cloud service. (Change ref C2411-069)

From Monday, 28 October, until Friday 15 November, an essential upgrade will take place to the departmental filestore (sometimes referred to as GPFS). Note : this work is continuing from the initial expected end date of Thursday 7 November. During the upgrade, the service will remain accessible but should be considered at risk.
