Hawthorns building power down - Saturday 5th April

Description

Campus Division will be carrying out a power maintenance to The Hawthorns Building on Saturday 5th April between 7:30am and 2:30pm. As a result Students/Staff will see a complete loss of wired and wireless network during this time. (Change Ref: C2502-104)

[Investigating] Unfortunately following essential maintenance in late November 2024, the Self Service Cloud (CaaS) service is still being affected by ongoing issues and is currently unavailable. At present, Users will be unable to use any functionality provided by this service. We are working to fix this as a priority and hope to have the service back up and running soon.

Matlab license temporarily unavailable

Description

Due to network maintenance this afternoon (5.30-7.00pm) and this weekend, the network Matlab license will not be available for the duration (21st - 23rd March). We expect this to affect all users of the Matlab license across campus, working remotely and ACRC services. While we understand the inconvenience this will cause, unfortunately users will need to wait for the network maintenance to finish for the license to become available again.

8x8 has informed us that they are making a change to the Contact Centre platform on 17th March 23:00 - 18th March 03:00 8x8 have stated this will not be service affecting. Users who log in for the first time after the change (March 18th usual business hours) may see the broadcast banner/pop notification that would have been sent during the change. Users are to dismiss/close the notification. Should users encounter any log in issues please ask them to clear their browser cache.
