Description
From Monday, 28 October, until Thursday, 7 November, an essential upgrade will take place to the departmental filestore (sometimes referred to as GPFS). During the upgrade, the service will remain accessible but should be considered at risk. However, a brief outage of approximately two hours is required. We cannot confirm the exact time of the outage, but it will take place outside core working hours to provide minimal disruption. The exact timing will be added to this status page when timings are known. This work may affect some (but not all) filestores accessed via: \\ads.bris.ac.uk\filestore \\ads.bris.ac.uk\folders \\ads.bris.ac.uk\servers \\ads.bris.ac.uk\software Please note that a wide range of services use elements of the departmental filestore to perform certain functions.
