[Identified] Users may intermittently encounter an error when joining scheduled meetings in the Microsoft Teams desktop client. As a temporary work around, users may log out of Microsoft Teams completely and then log back in to be able to join a scheduled meeting. We are currently not aware of issues at the University having been caused by this. Microsoft are investigating the issue and updates will be posted here.

[Identified] Sharepoint issues are now resolved and the service is operating correctly Exchange/Outlook, Service recovery underway for the majority of users Teams: Some users get an error and can't join scheduled meetings in Microsoft Teams User Impact: Users may intermittently experience an error when attempting to join scheduled meetings in Microsoft Teams. More info: Impact is limited to the Microsoft Teams desktop client. As a temporary workaround, users may log out of Microsoft Teams completely, then log back in to be able to join a scheduled meeting.

Video policy change in Microsoft Streams

On Friday 11th September the video policy will be updated in Microsoft Stream. This means that the next time you upload content to Stream you will be asked to read the policy and tick a box to confirm. Once confirmed, you will not be asked again unless the policy changes in the future. As part of the Infrastructure Modernisation Programme (IMPact) work to upgrade our networks, between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 8 December, essential network maintenance will be taking place to ensure resilience of services.
