Work is required to support the departmental filestore, also known as the GPFS service. This is scheduled to take place between 9 am and 5 pm on Tuesday, 20 February 2024.
During this time, the services listed should be considered at risk:

Please note that elements of the departmental filestore are used by a wide range of services to perform certain functions, such as:
- Temporary Network Storage
- Voicemail Service
- ZB-ALSPAC filestore
- Web departmental ‘media’ folders
- ZD-GELY Geophysics Suite Business 2
- RX-Works
- Patient Management System For Veterinary Cases
- ZB-SSCM Redcap
- ZB-SSCM HPC hosting
- ZB-SSCM file storage
- ZB-SOCS file storage
- bristol.ac.uk
IT staff will check services during the work to ensure prompt recovery should any issues arise.
