The University is working to modernise its telephony infrastructure by replacing outdated analogue phones before the nationwide discontinuation of BT's analogue PSTN network.
During the night of 6 June, the remaining analogue telephone number ranges will be porting to a cloud based solution. There will be a small outage in service but we expect service to be restored by normal working hours.
You can identify analogue phones by looking for devices that do not have ‘Unify’ written on them or an LCD screen, such as the Agent 1000, BT Diverse 7110, BT Converse 2300 models (see uob.sharepoint.com/sites/itservices/SitePages/Phones-available-at-the-University.aspx)
