Printing (Print Release) will be unavailable on Monday 14 NovemberPlanned Maintenance

Description

An upgrade to the managed print service, Print Release (devices that require you to login with your Ucard), will take place from Monday 14 November to Thursday 17 November. We have been advised by the supplier, Canon, that during Monday 14 November between 8am and 6pm the ability to send items to print will be unavailable. During this time it will not be possible to send or print documents and use the Scan to Email function using the Print Release service. Please note that while every effort will be made to ensure the Print Release service keeps working normally on the remaining days there is the possibility for brief interruptions to the Print Release service on Tuesday 15 November, Wednesday 16 November and Thursday 17 November, which may require you to send the item to print again (payment for students is only taken when an item is printed). The upgrade is required to allow the Email to Print function to work following changes to security standards introduced by Microsoft as well as addressing a number of ongoing functionality issues. Please note that this work will not affect stand-alone printers or the work of Print Services, who may be able to assist with high priority, urgent printing requirements.
