The work is part of activity to establish a robust and resilient data centre infrastructure, this work is scheduled to link our onsite legacy data centres with our modern off-site data centres. This requires a change to our network configuration. This work supports the transformational IMPact Programme managed by IT Services, which aims to enhance our digital services through modern cloud-based, highly available and highly resilient systems.
The work will take place between 7am and 9am on Tuesday 2nd July.
Every effort has been made to test that the change goes without incident, but there is always a possibility of disruption to services.
Services at risk include those hosted by the University. Please note that services hosted externally, such as Outlook and One Drive, would not be affected by this work in any way, except for services which rely on UOB Single-Sign-On.
